How's that for a blog post title? This is gonna be one seriously riveting post I tell you.
I was planning on hitting the Eastern Sierra this weekend for some spring backcountry skiing, which would have made for a great Monday post, but alas.
It turns out I suddenly have a case of "Tendinitis at the Triceps Insertion," which makes it quite painful to put any weight on my arm. The exact motion you'd use with your poles as you skin up the mountain is now excrutiating. Aaaarrgghhh - just in time for the height of ski mountaineering season.
Weird thing is the doc said I must have had it for some time because significant calcification is apparent in the x-ray. The doc said it just takes time and lots of anti-inflammatories. It does seem to be feeling better everyday, so hopefully I'll be back at it soon.
